Vick Hope Announced as Perfectil Brand Ambassador
TV and radio broadcaster Vick Hope is revealed as the new brand ambassador of Perfectil, the UK's no 1 beauty supplement brand. Vick has featured on the brand’s latest ad campaign, which launched in December 2024.
The integrated marketing campaign will target consumers nationwide across a multitude of platforms including out of home, digital advertising, print ads and across the Transport for London Network.
To announce this new partnership, Perfectil has commissioned a nationwide survey of 2,000 UK adults highlighting a change in how Brits perceive beauty, with 80% believing that inner qualities are more important than physical attributes and a resounding 85% feel that a person’s real beauty “starts from within."
This marks a departure from traditional beauty standards. The research highlights the growing importance of self-acceptance and inner qualities over outward appearances with more than three quarters of Brits (83%) agreeing that real beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin.
More than just being skin deep, modern beauty encompasses inner traits like confidence, loyalty and inclusivity, all significantly enhancing a person’s likeability according to almost three-quarters (77%) of Brits.
When it comes to those in their inner friendship circle. More than half of Brits stated that honesty was the top trait they looked for when selecting friends (54%), followed by kindness (53%) and loyalty (48%). Inner traits that were less popular, included optimism (11%), resilience (7%) and pride (4%).
For 18-24 year olds honesty was valued the highest (44%) with those 65+ also placing a higher importance on honesty (67%) compared to other age groups
The study also revealed that nearly half of Brits (45%) have actively distanced themselves from a connection to someone that does not align with their personal values, highlighting a growing trend toward more intentional friendships and connections. This behaviour is particularly prevalent among younger generations, with almost three quarters (73%) of 18-24 year olds and more than half (60%) of 25-34 year olds having taken such action in the past five years.
Personal growth did not stop there, as over a third of Brits (44%) stated that they were inspired to improve their own qualities because of someone close to them. This figure rises significantly among younger adults, with 72% of 18–24-year-olds reporting such inspiration.
The move towards more value-aligned connections appears to be part of a broader trend in personal development, with respondents identifying confidence (42%), optimism (29%), and resilience (28%) as the top qualities they wish to improve in themselves over the next 12 months showing that Brits are becoming increasingly conscious of the impact their social circles have on their personal growth and are more willing than ever to curate their friendship circles based on shared values and positive influence.
Vick Hope, Perfectil Ambassador commented: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the Perfectil family! I've always believed that beauty comes from feeling good, so this partnership feels like such a natural fit. I’m looking forward to working with Perfectil to champion living healthily and the qualities that make us beautiful on the inside.
“For me, health is holistic: it’s the choices we make for both our bodies and our minds. Of course it’s sleep, hydration, nutrition, exercise… but it’s also carving out time for yourself, getting lost in a good book, kitchen dancing to your favourite tunes, spending time in nature, meditating, whatever brings you peace, balance, and confidence.”
Robert Taylor, Senior Vice President at Perfectil, said: "We are thrilled to launch our new campaign in December, and Vick Hope is the ideal ambassador for Perfectil. She perfectly represents the nation’s growing focus on beauty that comes from within. Our research highlights that 85% of Brits are prioritizing inner beauty, aligning seamlessly with Perfectil's core belief that true beauty starts with the right nutrition."
