Baobab Collection Autumn-Winter 2024 Collection
Baobab Collection proudly announces the launch of its Autumn-Winter 2024 collection, inspired by the enchanting landscapes and rich heritage of Morocco. This unique home fragrance collection invites consumers on an olfactory and aesthetic journey to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, celebrating the vibrant spirit of Berber villages and the elegance of Marrakech.
In collaboration with renowned artist and photographer Serge Anton, the collection featured stunning photographs that adorn the glass vessels like orientalist canvases. Each piece captures iconic sights—from the majestic Koutoubia in Marrakech to the sun-kissed city of Essaouira, and the storied kasbahs of Skoura—transforming interior spaces into immersive works of art. A portion of the sales from this limited-edition Orientalist collection benefits Actions@Village, a non-profit organisation dedicated to rebuilding schools in Berber villages affected by the devastating 2023 earthquake.
The Orientalist Collection by Serge Anton
The Koutoubia candles and diffuser, with a fragrance of incense, cedar, and leather, evoke the rich essence of Marrakech. The Essaouira candles and diffuser, tinted in a soft pink, embodying the beauty of Essaouira at sunset, release floral notes of hyacinth, lily, and almond blossom. The Skoura candles and diffuser pay tribute to the historical kasbahs, featuring a warm, spicy fragrance of cedar, amber, and incense.
The Atlas Collection
The Majorelle candles were inspired by Jacques Majorelle’s iconic villa, featuring a striking electric blue glass and plum wax. Their floral scent of orange blossom, leather, and patchouli brings life to any space. The Tichka candles celebrate the colours of the Tichka Pass with hand-blown glass in rich shades of brown. They release a woody aroma of Atlas cedar, patchouli, and vetiver. Lastly, the Toubkal candles, reflecting the highest peak of the High Atlas, feature a violet wax and complex fragrance of incense, rose, and Atlas cedar.
The Ksar Collection
The El Glaoui ceramic scented candles draw inspiration from the architecture of Berber ksars, offering a floral fragrance of hibiscus, tea, and red fruits. The Sultan candles showcase a shiny metallic glaze with a fresh floral scent of sea salt, papyrus flower, and moss. Lastly, the Pacha candles feature a glossy green exterior and aromatic notes of bergamot, absinthe, and patchouli.
Additional Highlights
The Marrakech candles and diffusers feature a captivating screen-printed design of the city’s gates, revealing a floral scent of orange blossom, leather, and patchouli. The Caravane holiday edition candles and diffuser celebrate the charm of desert caravans, offering a woody fragrance of fir, wood fire, and vetiver.
