D.S. & DURGA Brown Flowers
A chic and fragrant soirée marked the launch of D.S. & DURGA’s latest olfactory creation, Brown Flowers, at London's stylish Broadwick Soho. Founders David Seth Moltz (D.S., perfumer) and Kavi Moltz (Durga, designer) hosted an evening of sophisticated revelry, drawing inspiration from the muted glamour of the 1970s. Over 200 guests from the worlds of beauty, fashion, and the arts came together to celebrate this intriguing new scent, which perfectly captures the brand’s unique ethos of "chic to be drab."
Notable attendees included culinary writer Meera Sodha, famed celebrity makeup artist Val Garland, broadcasters Lisa Snowdon and Jamie East, music producer Ian Masterson, and writer and model Bee Beardsworth. Industry leaders such as Andy Lightfoot, CEO of Space NK, Fabienne Mauny of Manzanita Capital, Helena Sampson of Malin + Goetz, and Liberty's head buyer of beauty, Sarah Coonan, were also spotted mingling amidst the fragrance-filled ambiance.
Brown Flowers, now available exclusively at Space NK, Liberty, and Harvey Nichols, presents an alluring blend that nods to vintage florals with a contemporary twist. Continuing the celebration, David and Kavi Moltz will make special appearances at Space NK’s Fragrance Library pop-up at The Vinyl Factory Soho for National Fragrance Week. Enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to join a floral arrangement masterclass with David himself, further immersing themselves in the distinctively captivating world of D.S. & DURGA.
