Granado Bossa Collection

Granado celebrates with the opening of two-stand alone shops in Regent Street and Ham Yard Village and the launch of the Bossa Collection in the UK. Bossa celebrates the Cariocas and pays homage to their native Rio de Janeiro. A vibrant and modern creation that captures the soul of Brazil's iconic city from its laid-back lifestyle to the sun and the sea.

This fresh and sunny floral fragrance by French independent perfumer Cécile Zarokian reflects a summer’s day by the sea. Cécile drew upon memories of a visit to Rio de Janeiro, where the experience of smelling frangipani flowers warmed by the Brazilian sun, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and joyful Cariocas on the beach inspired the creation of Bossa Eau de Toilette.

The combination of sparkling lemon, mandarin and petit grain citrus notes with a marine accord reflects the lightness of a seaside breeze, whilst delicate sunny floral notes of frangipani and tiare mingle with the smoothness of coconut and the elegance of musk and cashmere wood for a comforting fragrance that evokes happy memories of a day at the beach.

All products in the Bossa Collection draw their visual identity from the historical archives and history of Granado. An image of the old Rio, taken from a Carioca tea tin, was the inspiration for this creation. The original illustration has been reworked to bring luminosity with shades of blue and to translate the lightness and freshness of Bossa.

“This fragrance is the memory of this precious moment, and the colour that best represents it is an azure blue, like a summer sky reflected on the ocean: a colour as warm and cheerful as the Cariocas are, a true symbol of the deep joy I felt at the time” says Cécile Zarokian.
