Parfums de Marly presents Valaya: a musky-woody-floral eau de parfum that brings together a synergy of natural materials and innovative molecules. Expect notes of orange blossom and comforting mandarin, enhanced by an elixir surreptitiously dosed with musk and placed atop the opulence of noble wood and vanilla. 

A radiant aura and yet, an impalpable softness. Valaya, the new opus unveiled by Parfums de Marly in February 2023, has accomplished the challenge of capturing the scent of the skin caressed by a veil of cotton…to convey the power of femininity.

Inspiration

True to the philosophy of Julien Sprecher, the House’s founder and Artistic Director, Valaya presents itself as a unique play on codes, materials, and subtle contrasts. A faceted trail that revisits 18th-century heritage with elegance and modernity.

Composed with the French perfumer Quentin Bisch (Givaudan), this sensual, cloud-like, and very contemporary fragrance captures femininity in all its glory.

Sensuality in its most essential expression. Enclosed in an immaculate bottle, Valaya recalls, upon contact with the skin, le secret, a secret petticoat ladies wore during the 18th century under their various garments. or the modernity of a white shirt worn directly against the skin, which enhances without denaturing.

Beyond the boundaries of artifice and ostentation, and beyond time, Valay rouses an intimate sensation, a universal emotion, a deep breath of mindfulness. Its short formula suggests the texture of skin, the smell of fresh cotton, and the radiance of a woman in full bloom.

The Power of White Flowers

Because they do not develop colour, white flowers possess a particularly sophisticated olfactory language.

At the heart of Valaya, the perfumer Quentin Bisch composed a minimalist, transparent bouquet around the orange blossom, enhanced by an elixir surreptitiously dosed with must and placed atop the opulence of noble wood and vanilla. This musky woody floral brings together a synergy of natural materials and innovative molecules.
