QMS Medicosmetics Extends Epigen Pollution Range

German skincare brand OMS Medicosmetics add to the Epigen pollution Defense range with two new additions - Epigen Pollution Detox Cleansing Gel and Epigen Pollution Defense Day And Night Gel-Cream.

Both products have been formulated to counter the damaging effects of pollution on skin, caused from UV rays, visible light, oxidative stress and other aggressors. These aggressors cause epigenetic changes to your skin which can result in premature ageing and a dullness to the complexion.

What are epigenetics?

Epigenetics refers to the naturally occurring  biological  DNA sequences  that  have the ability to switch small tags of DNA strands, known as epigenomes, on and off without changes to the underlying DNA source. Over time, epigenetics  will  turn certain genes off as a result of  pollution  and  external  aggressors,  which  is  why skin can appear dull and lacklustre as you age.

Epigen Pollution Defense Gel-Cream is an intensely hydrating yet lightweight gel-cream hybrid that helps to lock in moisture and maintain optimum, long-lasting hydration, while defending against pollutants and other external aggressors.

Scientifically formulated with an Epigenetic  peptide supercharged with protective Thermus Thermophilus Ferment to cool and infused with hydrating Swiss glacier water to refresh, this lightweight moisturiser helps to hydrate, visibly plump the skin and protects against harmful epigenetic changes encountered day and night to help skin maintain its genomic integrity. A cross-link Hyaluronic Acid creates a net to keep hydration in the skin for longer.
