Votary Sensitive Resurfacing Peel

Luxury skincare brand Votary is launching its latest innovation, the Sensitive Resurfacing Peel, a product designed to deliver the transformative effects of a high-strength peel while being gentle enough for sensitive skin. The launch of this peel marks a significant addition to Votary's range, offering a solution for those who seek both efficacy and gentleness in their skincare routine.

The Sensitive Resurfacing Peel features 10% lactic acid, the highest concentration allowed under EU regulations, making it a potent exfoliant that targets multiple skin concerns. Lactic acid is well-known for its ability to exfoliate dead skin cells, hydrate the skin, and improve firmness, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. However, what sets this peel apart is its formulation, which balances the powerful exfoliating properties of lactic acid with soothing ingredients.

To mitigate the potential irritation often associated with chemical peels, Votary has incorporated Lactobacillus Ferment and Horse Chestnut Seed Extract into the formula. These ingredients are clinically proven to reduce redness and calm the skin, making the peel suitable for those with even the most sensitive skin. Additionally, the inclusion of Chia Seed Extract further enhances the skin's barrier function, ensuring that moisture is retained while the peel works its magic.

Votary co-founder Arabella Preston describes the Sensitive Resurfacing Peel as the perfect post-summer skin reset. “It reduces sunspots and fine lines, revealing youthful, radiant skin,” she says, emphasizing the peel's role in renewing the skin after sun exposure.
