Inside the Live True London New Soho Flagship

Live True London is known as a trend-setting urban salon that puts your vision first and empowers you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. Live True London began as a single hair salon in Clapham under a railway arch, and has now expanded to 4 salons across London, Clapham, Vauxhall/Nine Elms, Brixton and their newest Soho Flagship.

Our editor had the chance to visit the new Flagship that opened in Novemebr 2021 on Wardour Street, in the heart of lively and creative Soho. The salon interior feels welcoming, modern and playful, with electric blue walls and moody lighting which encourages creativity among the team.

The salons are best known for their expert balayage. Their speciality uses a unique combination of freehand and foil techniques to create a colour that is perfectly blended with your natural hair, this signature treatment adds effortless definition and movement. Whatever your hair colour or texture, the team of experts is able to achieve a high degree of lift for a beautiful multi-tonal colour, that is truly unique to you. The salon group is now offering educational courses to learn how to perfect their colour technique.

Our editor had an amazing treatment with Red, Senior Stylist and Senior Colourist at the Soho salon, who shared his knowledge on achieving the best face-framing layered cut that builds volume. Not only was the visit perfect from start to finish, the Olaplex treatment perfectly rejuvenated her hair and was incredibly relaxing. Red was eager to share his knowledge on the best products to both maintain the luscious effects of the Olaplex treatment and promote scalp health which is a great way for a hairdresser to go above and beyond the treatment.

The Soho salon is definitely our favourite Live True Salon and it’ll easily become a fixture of Soho going forwards.
