The Prime Minister has announced today (31/10/2020) at the Downing Street Press Conference that all non-essential businesses are to close in England for a month long national lockdown.

This lockdown will mirror the lockdown in March, bar that schools and universities will remain open. This means that salons and hairdressers as well as the rest of the beauty industry are required to close from Thursday until the start of December.

With this, the Furlough Scheme will be extended until December.
