Decléor to Cease Distribution in the UK

Decléor has confirmed that it will cease its distribution in the UK by the end of December 2023. This decision comes in light of the challenges faced by the brand, which has been significantly affected by the combined impact of international economic downturns and global health crises.

A recent communication from the L'Oréal Group, which houses Decléor, confirmed the termination of the brand’s commercialisation. They attributed this significant move to the "heavy impact from the international economic and health crisis of the past years", which has escalated the brand's fragility and affected its long-term viability.

For long-standing clients, salons, and spas, this means that the Decléor Selective Distribution Agreement will officially end on 31st December 2023. However, they will have the option to purchase stock up to 19th December 2023, based on availability.

Those in the beauty industry who have integrated Decléor treatments and products into their offerings may continue to do so, using the supplies they have. However, they need to be mindful of an essential point: Decléor, in line with their Terms and Conditions of sale, will not accept returns of any stock post-purchase.

While this news might be disheartening for many in the UK who have come to love and trust Decléor products, the L'Oréal Group assures its business partners of an unwavering commitment. Their dedication to maintaining a "fair and sincere" relationship during this transition period remains strong.

For those with questions or needing clarity on this matter, Decléor's Business Development Executives are on standby, ready to provide answers and guidance.
