After a long and turbulent journey, the UK stopped being a member of the European Union (EU) at 23:00 GMT on 31 January 2020, triggering the transition period which began immediately after Brexit day and is due to end on 31 December 2020.

During this 11-month period, the UK will continue to follow all of the EU's rules and its trading relationship will remain the same, giving businesses in the UK time to implement new rules to prepare for Brexit.

Supporting business in the beauty industry, Cosmetic Cluster UK (CCUK), in partnership with MSL Solutions has hosted a free webinar on the 23rd of January, 2020 to help cosmetic and personal care businesses across the UK prepare for UK’s exit.

The successful webinar gathered around 300 people for a live and interactive hour-long session which consisted of talking to leading industry experts, covering Brexit updates and specific advice including explaining possible Brexit scenarios that will have an impact on the regulatory landscape.

Due to the positive feedback, and to help business that were unable to watch live, the “Prepare for Brexit” webinar is now available to view on-demand here.

Angela Davies, CEO of MSL Solution Providers, comments: "As one of the largest independent Responsible Persons, we are at the forefront of Brexit preparations and can help businesses prepare or refine their plans.

"We have been thrilled with the reception that our webinar has received to date and would urge any cosmetics companies that are unclear about what action they need to take, to watch it. After all, if they want to continue selling in Europe, they need to act now."
