Danielle also paid homage to previous nominees with the number "26" on her nails, to honour that she's the 26th Black woman to be nominated for best supporting actress. 1. Prep All Nails with a Dry or Hot towel manicure.
2. Pre-Size the nails, making sure each nail fits sidewall to sidewall.
3. Wipe nail clean with alcohol prep.
4. Apply pH bonder to all nails.
5. Apply nonacidic primer to all nails.
6. Apply one coat of extend gel to all 10 natural nails. Cure 30 seconds LED alpha lamp.
7. Acrub non-acidic tip primer, on each nail underside, allowing to get tacky.
8. Apply extend gel underside, angle, 45° flush from the cuticle and cure for 5-10 seconds. Full cure all Nails for 30 seconds.
9. Cut, Shape, Buff.
10. Appy Apres Base Gel
11. Coat Gel Couleur Spring Sigh.

To Create the Swarovski French Nail:
1. Apply French style one coat of color Apres New Year Wishes Mixed with loose silver Glitter and cure for 30 seconds in Beta LED Lamp
2. Apply One coat of Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat cure for 30 seconds.
3. Bling your design up.
4. Apply Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat only around tip edge of the nails (never on the crystals) and cure for 30 seconds in the Beta LED Lamp.

Lily Gladstone sported a silver, mirror-like chrome by Yoko Sakakura who broke down the step by step for the look.

1. File and lightly buff the nail. Then, after fitting a tip to the nail, apply a thin coat of Apres pH Bonder followed by Primer.

2. Using Apres Gel-X Prep, apply small amount on inside of the Gel-X Whitney Natural Stiletto Short Tips, focusing only on the area that will be placed on the nail plate.

3. Apply a thin layer of Extend Gel over the nail plate. Cure for 30 seconds under an LED light or for one minute under a UV light.

4. Apply a small bead of Extend Gel on the filed area of the Gel-X tip. Make sure to cover the entire filed area.

5. Place the tip on the nail, with 45 degree angle,
starting at the cuticle area. Push the tip down slightly towards the free edge to smooth out the Extend Gel. Use the flashlight to cure the tip for 10 seconds. (After applying all 10 tips, cure the whole hand for 30 seconds under an LED light or for one minute under a UV light.)

6. Apply a thin layer of Non-Wipe Glossy Gel Topcoat and cure for 30 seconds and then apply some silver chrome powder with a sponge tip

7. After dusting off, apply another layer of Non-Wipe Glossy Gel Topcoat to finish the look.

For Emily Blunt’s Look, seasoned celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec opted for a chic monotone nail to complement Emly’s and John’s coordinated looks. They chose The Gel Bottle in Silk, a delicate sheer pink layered with 3 coats for just the right coverage of rose pink. To echo the sparkle of her dazzling Schiparelli gown and Tifafny diamonds, they topped it off with a single coat of The Gel Bottle in Starlight holographic Extreme Shine Topcoat, adding an extra touch of glam to her already glowing look.
