iiaa Has Rebranded to International Institute for ‘Active’ Ageing,
The iiaa, formerly the International Institute for Anti-Ageing, has unveiled its new brand name and messaging: leading the way in inclusive, planet-positive, sustainable skin health that combines science, innovation and knowledge.
Relaunching mid-October 2022 as the International Institute for ‘Active’ Ageing, the iiaa is proactively changing the narrative around ageing, encouraging individuals to face and embrace the ageing process, as the home of two medical-grade skin health brands tried-and-tested to deliver professional results.
With their aim to change the future of skin health, co-founders and husband and-wife duo Tracy Tamaris and David Alpert describe the iiaa and its team as “innovators, creators and educators” in sustainable skin health products and practices around the world.
Tracy Tamaris explains: “They used to say when you were 52 you became absolutely invisible, and that has completely been turned on its head. We have such wonderful, powerful women who are the most incredible role models; older women who are living their lives; who are vital; who are young in their attitudes.”
David Alpert adds, “You have to be active as you age to retain health. When it comes to active ageing, you have to consider your biological and your chronological age and what you ideally want to do is get your biological age as low as possible. To do that you have to intervene – you have to be active – and that’s what I believe the new name for the institute really sums up.”
The iiaa is more than skincare; it’s skin health. It’s looking great on the outside and feeling even better on the inside. It’s a confidence that comes from embracing whoever you are, whatever your age.
For over 30 years, the couple have been developing their pioneering vision to pro-actively transform the beauty industry through science, innovation and education, leading the way to scientifically proven, long-lasting results in skincare and better business success for salon professionals and brand partners.
The iiaa has a world-class training programme designed to inspire and empower its network of beauty practitioners and professionals. It provides them with a range of products and treatments guaranteed to deliver exceptional, life-changing results for their clients, as well as being sold direct to consumer.
Headquartered at Riverside House in London Bridge, the iiaa head office is now professional home to 150 employees working across the business and its two skin health brands, Environ and Advanced Nutrition Programme. Direct from its dedicated warehouse, the iiaa distributes to over 18 markets and counting.
