Pantone Announces Coral is Set to Take Over 2019 and 15 Other Colours for This Year.

The Pantone Colour Institute annually predicts colours that serve as inspiration for fashion's leading designers' new collections, has announced its 2019 Colour of the Year as Living Coral. This vibrant and and warm pinky orange can work for all seasons, from tan skin in the summer to a cool touch in the winter. The institute itself pens it as "an affable and animating shade whose golden undertone gives it a softer edge".
In the digital age this colour is to symbolise connection and growing intimacy , Living Coral is described as embodying our desire for playful expression.
Pantone has also predicted 16 other colours that are set to trend this year, making sure there's something for everyone. This season's style palette looks set to include a beautiful balance of cool neutrals, paired with warm (and even hot) shades of red, pink and orange. As the colour of the year is a vibrant coral, the rest of the palette is awash with complimentary colours.
