Leading Ayurvedic beauty and wellness brand, Kama Ayurveda, has partnered with the multi-award-winning provider of AR and AI technology, Holition Beauty, to create an AI- powered Ayurvedic dosha consultation using groundbreaking facial scanning technology, setting a new standard in skin care personalisation.

Kama Ayurveda is unveiling its new online Ayurvedic consultation which, in an industry-first, uses AI for the ultimate personal diagnosis from the comfort of your own home. In the same way an Ayurvedic doctor would visually assess the patient in a traditional consultation, the online tool uses cutting-edge facial scanning technology to assess the user’s face shape, nose shape, the space between the eyes and skin type. Combined with a written questionnaire, this information is then used to determine the individual’s dominant dosha: Vata, Pitta or Kapha. According to Ayurveda, the dosha is an individual’s unique mind-body type. From a skincare perspective, the facial software can also assess skin concerns such as pigmentation, acne, fine lines, and dark spots to make the most accurate product recommendations.
