Pura Collagen Supplement Brand Acquired by Vector Consumer Group

Vector Consumer Ltd has announced an acquisition of the Pura Collagen brand. Vector Consumer, based in Liverpool, delivers brand solutions that speak to a wide customer base, supporting an individual’s health goal during each life stage. Existing brands within the portfolio include SOLV and the officially licensed Liverpool FC sports and wellness range, with further brand acquisitions set to be announced imminently.

Jennifer Mo, a nutritional formulations expert and co-founder of multi award-winning Pura Collagen says of the acquisition; “Rob & I couldn't be more excited for the trajectory of Pura by joining Vector Consumer. Since its foundation Pura Collagen was created to deliver clinically proven health products that are peptide condition specific. In our short time, we’ve achieved amazing omni-channel success, but this union allows Pura to continue to lead the collagen category with innovation because it will now be anchored by the incredible support of the Vector Consumer infrastructure”.

Co-founders Jennifer Mo and Rob Knowles launched Pura in 2021, the only condition specific collagen supplement brand. Pura’s multi-award winning collagen blends are science driven and clinically backed. Offering solutions to improve skin luminosity, naturally boost immunity, aid recovery from injuries, manage the menopause and improve sleep.

Mo & Knowles will be joining the Senior Leadership Team headed by Managing Director Matt Banks-Crompton. Mo has been announced as Director of Strategy & Implementation & Knowles will step in to the group as Supply Chain & Logistics Director. Banks-Crompton feels the addition of Pura Collagen aligns perfectly with the group's larger strategic goal. “Vector Consumer was formed in Liverpool with a goal to deliver high quality health & wellness products for a wide spectrum of consumers and globally renowned retailers. We’ve delivered an amazing sports nutrition range in LFC and a ‘first of its kind’ brand targeting the seven stages of a woman’s life, with SOLV. Adding Pura will allow us to become the authoritative voice in collagen. It's an incredibly significant time for Vector Consumer and what we plan to offer to our industry. The addition of Pura Collagen and its team will allow us to make further exciting acquisitions in our space”.

Matt Banks-Crompton founded Vector Consumer in 2019, with a vision to disrupt the global consumer healthcare space. Spending 20 years working in various key leadership roles across blue chip consumer healthcare companies, he has a wealth of experience in the supplement and sports nutrition space, experienced in successful international brand launches, delivering growth through strategy, innovation, and market disruption. Today, applying Banks-Crompton’s broad sector and market experience has been key to driving growth for Vector Consumer and ensuring that the company is global from day 1, leading the team to deliver genuine market creativity and positive disruption in everything they do.

In a short space of time, Vector Consumer has imagined and delivered impactful health and beauty brands capable of leading the global market including SOLV, an award winning female focused supplements brand, and the officially licensed Liverpool FC sports and wellness range. With the acquisition of the Pura Collagen brand, Banks-Crompton says “We are only just getting started”.
