GANT Fragrances Launches in the UK
American sportswear brand GANT are proud to announce the launch of its new men’s fragrance. In partnership with E.A. Cosmetics, their timeless scents draw inspiration from the East Coast of the US, where the brand was founded in 1949. The three signature fragrances were meticulously crafted to embody the brand's heritage, blending fresh coastal notes, timeless elegance, and modern sophistication to capture the essence of effortless American style.
The flacon design is inspired by the classic GANT varsity jacket, a must-have in any preppy wardrobe. The iconic G-patch on the jacket’s chest has been reimagined as the shape of the bottle. Now, this new fragrance becomes a key addition to your everyday essentials.
“GANT is an iconic brand with an interesting legacy and exploring ingredients and traditions from the East Coast of the US was a great source of inspiration for me. I pictured myself in the Hamptons, walking along the windy beach and creating the fragrance with all the elements I imagined finding there”, says Nicolas Beaulieu, the perfumer behind the scents.

GANT 1949 is an olfactory celebration of the brand’s year of foundation and rich legacy, inspired by a series of archival replicas of vintage GANT pieces, mainly a full-leather varsity jacket from the 1980s. GANT 1949 is a fusion of zesty flavors that blend with a modern leather accord and woody ambery notes. The top notes consist of tangy bergamot, lemon, and a hint of apple. The heart notes combine the warm aroma of cistus labdanum with cedarwood and spicy cinnamon bark. The base notes of patchouli, amber woods, and musks perfectly round off the fragrance.
GANT Ivy is an ambery fougere scent with an iconic ivy accord and the purest woody essences. The top notes of black pepper and tangy Pamplezest give the scent a dynamic liveliness, while clary sage adds aromatic depth. The heart notes combine ivy, geranium, and cedarwood to create elegant warmth. The long-lasting base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and a modern Saffiano leather accord complete the intense allure of the fragrance.
GANT is both classic and modern, offering a unique fragrance that combines effortless elegance with an appealing freshness. Fresh notes of lemon, bergamot, and mandarin open the fragrance in harmony with spicy pink pepper and turmeric leaves as the top notes. An ivy accord leads into the spicy heart notes. The bittersweet facets of wormwood, paired with rosemary and cedarwood, enhance the aroma. Patchouli and sandalwood round off the base, giving the scent a seductive warmth. Ambertonic – a combination of amber and musk – provides warm, velvety, and sensual facets, creating a unique attraction. Sinfonide brings forth a musk accord that, through woody and powdery undertones, conveys masculine elegance and strength.
