Granado Tropical Birds Collection

Granado Pharmacias are to launch The Tropical Birds collection exclusively to Liberty in May. The 3 new beautiful fragrances take you on a journey through the century-old history of Granado and Rio de Janeiro.  The exclusive packaging features colourful, botanical vintage style prints of tropical fauna and flora.  

Founded in 1870 by Portuguese José Antonio Coxito Granado, the Granado Pharmácias story began by selling natural remedies created from plants, herbs and flowers native to his home of Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro’s mountainous region.

Nostalgia

Created by perfumer Jasmine Zeal, this unique creation awakens and pays homage to more than 150 years of history, crossing generations and transporting through time to evoke memorable emotions. Nostalgia was thus built as an elegant floral fragrance enveloped in a soft cashmere to land gently on the skin and this traditional, yet contemporary scent explores sophisticated simplicity.   

Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Mandarin- Body Notes: Lily, Orange Blossom, Rose- Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Cashmere 

 Jardim Real

The vibrant citrus notes and delicate floral body of Jardim Real exalt the beautiful parks and gardens of Rio de Janeiro in the XIX century. A creation of perfumer Lisa Montes, the fragrance exudes the freshness of flowers through a blend of naturalness and romanticism and transports you to the tropical gardens of Rio de Janeiro on a sunny summer’s day. Jardim Real presents the delicacy of the petals of the orange blossom as the protagonist of the creation and is finished with a classic and woody base of sandalwood and patchouli to bring sophistication and versatility.

Infusão Botânica

Created by perfumer, Ralf Schwieger, Infusão Botânica takes us to “Ilha Da Saúde” – the experimental laboratory and open air site of Granado founder José Coxito. Located within the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, the official pharmacopoeia of Brazil originated in 1926 which led to the creation of more than 300 natural products from within the fields. Infusão Botânica creates a unique balance between freshness and comfort resulting in an intriguing and invigorating scent captured through its aromatic and natural ingredients connecting to nature.
