Weleda Extends Skin Food Range

Weleda has extended it’s iconic, best-selling and celeb-loved range Skin Food with four new products. The Skin Food range intensively nourishes dry skin with the power of nature. Natural oils and extracts from certified organic plants protect and nourish dry skin, leaving your body and face naturally soothed.

The Skin Food range is microbiome-friendly, since it helps to restore the skin’s protective barrier, with organic rosemary, calendula and chamomile extracts.

The new launches include:

Skin Food Cleansing Balm

The oil-based formula with nutrient-rich organic sunflower oil and botanical extracts of viola tricolor, organic calendula and chamomile gently cleanses while maintaining skin's moisture levels. The smallest amount of this refreshing oil-to-milk Cleansing Balm is applied to the skin. Followed with a splash of warm water and circular movements, instantly emulsifies it into an effective cleansing milk that can be rinsed off easily. Unlike cleansers which strip the skin of oil and disrupt the skin barrier, new Skin Food Nourishing Cleansing Balm is proven microbiome-friendly and conditions while it cleanses, leaving skin feeling soft and replenished. It effectively removes dirt, impurities and water-soluble make-up, revealing clean, soft, glowing skin. It can also be used as a nourishing face mask.

Skin Food Day Cream

This protective day cream is formulated to intensively nourish dry skin, hydrate and restore radiance. Expertly blending botanical extracts of viola tricolor, organic calendula, organic chamomile with antioxidant-rich organic olive leaf extract for its skin-soothing properties, and olive squalane for its natural skin-conditioning, emollient properties, to maintain a healthy skin barrier. Daily application leaves your skin feeling protected, intensively nourished and silky-soft.

Skin Food Night Cream

This nourishing, nutrient-rich night cream is made with ingredients synonymous with the Skin Food range, including calendula and skin-smoothing viola tricolor, together with the additional benefits of organic cold-pressed sacha inchi oil rich in alpha linoleic acid for its cell-regenerating properties, whilst the skin-caring polyunsaturated fatty acids reduce transepidermal moisture loss and help maintain elasticity. Centella asiatica extract, prized for its ability to stimulate collagen synthesis, encourages the skin to regenerate and recover, so you wake to a radiant, silky-soft complexion.

Skin Food Ultra-Light Dry Oil

This ultra-light 2-phase spray combines the lightness of a moisturising mist with nourishing pure oils and extracts of pansy, organic calendula, organic rosemary, and organic chamomile. Easy to apply and quick to absorb for softer skin and an instant radiant glow
