Top Lash Trends for Autumn/Winter 2024

Lisa Stone, Expert and Salon System Educator delves into what we can expect in the upcoming season to be the biggest lash trends on the market.

As with all beauty looks, change happens continuously now. For the A/W 2024, lashes have shifted away from the heavily 'over-done' aesthetic towards a more natural look. Embracing the beauty of the natural lash, the focus is now on lash lift treatments, half lashes, creative individual lashes, and hybrids to diversify and enhance styles.

Here are my top trends for A/W 2024:

Soft and Natural Look

To compliment the soft dewy skin and make up trend, we’re seeing lashes looking more natural and softer.  This look can be created with using “hybrid techniques” using handmade, by mixing two sets of lashes together - like the Salon System Pro Made Fans mixed with Salon System Classic Lashes. This results in a light weight for a soft wispy texture, but still delivering volume and definition to the eyes.

Soft and natural can also be created by ½ sets of lashes being graduated into natural lashes creating a “accent” effect on the eyes giving soft and natural looks.

Underlash

The biggest trend this year! For fast and speedy application these lashes are clusters that are applied under your natural lashes to give a flawless seamless application giving the eyes a depth and volume and texture that can last up to 7 days easily applied in the salon or at home.

The Wet Look

A look that we see again this year. It’s about giving a glossy wet look to the eyes, and this can be achieved through using narrow (spikey) fans, integrated with softer wider fluffy fans, volume lashes both handmade and pro made fans..

Lash Lift

Still on trend a desired treatment for lash techs. Lash lift is a great alternative to lash extensions, giving a fuss free low maintenance treatment to enhance the natural lashes, helping to give the illusion of a more open lifted eye, longer more volume lashes that can last up to 6-8 weeks.

Colour

Jet-black lashes are no longer the go-to choice, as brown and brown/black shades have become increasingly popular. From chocolate brown lash extensions to soft brown or brown/black tints, these shades offer a more natural, subtle look for your lash services.
