Westin Debuts Heavenly Spa Luxury Concept in London

Indulge in the ultimate relaxation at the capital’s latest wellness destination, Heavenly™ Spa by Westin. Set in the newly opened Westin London City, Londoners and travellers alike are invited to switch off from bustling city life and escape to this sanctuary of serenity. Providing boundless time and space for silence, guests are encouraged to disconnect from technology upon arrival, to allow for personal reflection and contemplation in the most serene of settings.

Carefully curated interiors, soothing melodies, plush textures, and crisp scents blend together seamlessly, creating a rejuvenating atmosphere that engages each of the seven senses. Treatments have been specially tailored to evoke the psychological senses of emotion and meaning, ensuring guests leave not only feeling physically invigorated but also emotionally restored. The attentively conceived menu consists of a variety of therapies to address any wellness concerns and target different areas of the body. Upon entering the treatment rooms, visitors are invited to leave their worries at the door by placing any negative thoughts or feelings into a burden box. Affixed to each of the treatment room doors, the boxes allow guests to let go and start afresh before indulging in their chosen therapy.

Amongst the Heavenly™ Spa’s signature treatments, the Three-Stone Massage Ritual truly encompasses Westin’s brand ethos in all of its forms. Designed to melt away muscle tension and restore balance, prior to the treatment, therapists present three stones marked with the words “hope”, “gratitude” and “love”. Upon selecting a stone, it is placed within the face bowl to promote positive reflections throughout the Swedish body massage. Depending on the stone selection, guests are encouraged to think about something they are hoping for, something they are grateful for, or someone they love during the ritual - in order to uplift and renew the mind, body, and soul.

Prolonging guests’ state of serenity, following each treatment, the relaxation room awaits complete with a cup of White Tea by JING, to encourage a moment of quiet reflection before entering back into city life. To truly encapsulate all that the Heavenly™ Spa embodies, Westin has partnered with a variety of leading brands from within the wellness sphere. Treatments will incorporate premium skincare from Gemaine de Capuccini, Aromatherapy Associates’ essential oils and Philosophia Botanica’s seed to skin formulas, all of which are rooted in natural ingredients and holistic therapy.

To complete an indulgent day of pampering, the Heavenly™ Spa boasts five therapy rooms, one manicure and pedicure room and an innovative Experience Suite, which features a sauna, steam room, ice fountain and sensory shower. Seeking inspiration from the natural world in its purest form, the design features a neutral colour palette with textured bath stone, sage greens, and aquatic blues to awaken the senses. Delicately positioned around the archaeological remains of the Huggin Hill Bathhouse, the 12-metre pool area reflects the rich history that lies beneath it. What once served as one of the principal public buildings in a Roman town, a place for rejuvenation and social congregation, is now a space for tranquil relaxation complete with plush day beds perfect for basking in the calming ambience.

Post-treatment beverages and replenishing dishes are available from the hotel’s all-day eatery, Mosaic, which serves up Westin’s Eat Well menu, whilst The Juicery provides nutritious smoothies and juices to refresh and revitalise. For those seeking regular rest and relaxation, the Heavenly™ Spa monthly membership includes access to the spa and fitness studio, complemented by exclusive discounts across treatments, dining outlets and retail products, and four complimentary guest passes per year. Other wellness offerings include the monthly Rise & Run programme, encouraging Londoners to start their day with a 5k, and WestinWORKOUT™ fitness studio. Located next door to the spa and open 24/7, the studio is complete with state-of-the-art fitness equipment to provide guests with everything needed to keep on top of fitness routines whilst travelling.
