Guinot Launches Treatment in Partnership with Made for Life Foundation

Global skincare leader Guinot is proud to announce its partnership with the Made for Life Foundation to introduce the Serenity Hydra Summum Facial, a treatment specifically designed to cater inclusively to clients living with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. This new offering empowers Guinot therapists to confidently provide tailored, safe treatments for all, reinforcing Guinot’s commitment to compassionate client care in their salons.

With studies indicating that at least one in two people will experience cancer in their lifetime, the need for inclusive beauty treatments has never been greater. Guinot’s collaboration addresses this gap by equipping therapists with the knowledge and ability to offer gentle, relaxing therapies to all, including those navigating challenging health journeys.

The Serenity Hydra Summum Facial is the first of its kind. An adaptation of Guinot’s Hydra Summum, it incorporates a unique Touch Therapy technique, focusing on gentle, rhythmic touch to promote deep relaxation and create a calming, meditative experience. The 60-minute session includes core phases of exfoliation, concentrate, massage, and mask, along with an additional 30-minute consultation to ensure each client receives a personalised experience. Ideal for clients dealing with prolonged stress, cancer, or life-limiting medical conditions, the facial offers a restorative, meditative journey that is both comforting and revitalising.

To support the launch of the Serenity Hydra Summum Facial and maintain the highest standards of safety and expertise, Guinot has introduced the Cancer Care Course. This Habia-endorsed curriculum provides therapists with comprehensive training on the new treatment and education on working with clients at various stages of cancer. Upon completing the two-day training, therapists earn the Guinot Oncology Certificate and are registered with both the Made for Life Foundation and the Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care (SATCC), making it easy for clients to find qualified, safe havens.

Amanda Winwood, Founder and Managing Director of the Made for Life Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership:

“It has been wonderful to launch a great partnership with Guinot, ensuring that this recognised brand opens its doors to the one in two people who may be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. The feedback from the Guinot team and the customers they have now been able to welcome as a result of attending our SATCC-approved training has been heartwarming.”

The Serenity Hydra Summum Facial reflects Guinot’s dedication to providing safe, compassionate, and inclusive treatments for all, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and cared for within beauty salons.
