I am beyond excited to be sharing my top artistry tips with you every month, covering everything from the latest runway trends to how to make them work in real life. This Spring/Summer 2025, make-up is all about fresh, vibrant colour, playful textures, and glowing, healthy skin. Think high-fashion trends made wearable for everyday glam. Whether you love dewy complexions, bold lips, or soft pastel eyes, there is something for everyone this season. Here are my five must-try make-up trends for Spring/Summer 2025.

Skin: The Lit-from-Within Glow

This season, Versace and Victoria Beckham showcased ultra-glossy, almost wet-look skin, think effortless radiance with a sheer, natural finish. Heavy contouring is out, and fresh, healthy-looking skin is taking centre stage.  To achieve this look, use hydrating primers, lightweight skin tints, and luminous highlighters that let your real skin shine through. Less is more, ditch full coverage foundations that can look heavy and embrace products that enhance, rather than mask, your complexion. Use extra coverage where you need it rather than all over for the sake of it.

Start with a hydrating primer like Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer to create a smooth, radiant base. Use a skin tint such as Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter or the affordable e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter for a soft-focus effect. Finish with a liquid highlighter like Clarins Glow 2 Go Blush & Highlighter Stick for that seamless, dewy glow.

Brows: The Soft, Feathered Brow

This season, Chanel and Isabel Marant embraced a softer, more natural brow shape. The focus has shifted away from laminated, ultra-sculpted brows towards brushed-up, feathered brows that frame the face effortlessly. The key to achieving this look is definition without harshness. Swap heavy pomades for tinted gels to add volume while keeping brows looking naturally full.

Brush brows upwards with Refy Brow Sculpt for a lifted effect. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze for a long-lasting, feathery hold. For a budget-friendly option that also packs a punch, try NYX Thick It Stick It Brow Mascara.

Eyes: Watercolour Pastels

Pastel eyeshadows were a standout trend at Dior and Fendi, with models rocking soft washes of lilac, baby blue, and mint green on their lids. This dreamy, ethereal trend brings a modern twist to pastel tones.  For an everyday approach, opt for a light pastel wash on the lids or add a pop of pastel liner on the lower lash line for a subtle statement.

For a creamy, blendable pastel, try YSL Sequin Crush Mono Eyeshadow in Pastel Shades. Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows in Pastel Frost is perfect for creating soft, layered looks.

Lips: Cherry-Pop Red

Prada and Moschino brought bold, cherry-red lips back into the spotlight this season, but with a modern twist. Instead of matte, structured red lips, the focus is on juicy, glossy, playful reds that feel fresh and youthful.  Skip the heavy lip liner and go for a balm like tint or glossy red lipstick. Apply directly from the bullet and press into the lips for a natural, effortless effect.

An affordable option is the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink in Red-Hot delivers a long-lasting, high-shine finish. If you love a balmy texture, NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Turbo is the perfect sheer cherry red.

Glossy lips are also back, and the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil is an absolute must-have, its hydrating formula is heavenly and perfect for a high-shine finish without stickiness. The colours are amazing, pops of cherry and deep pinks and reds.

Cheeks: Sunburnt Blush

Blush placement has evolved this season, with designers like Etro and Stella McCartney embracing the sunburnt blush trend, where blush is swept across the cheeks and nose for a just-back-from-the-beach glow.  Cream and liquid blushes work best to achieve this look, as they melt into the skin for a seamless, natural finish. The key is blending generously across the cheeks and onto the bridge of the nose.

Try Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush for an ultra blendable formula. Dior Rosy Glow Blush offers a luxe take on the trend. For a budget-friendly pick, Revolution Super Dewy Liquid Blush delivers a radiant flush at an affordable price.
