These advanced skin treatments use the latest high-end technologies. Here Elena talks through the most common skin conditions and how she treats them in the clinic.

Problem 1: Acne and Congested Skin

Solution: Hydrafacial Facial Treatment,

Acne and congested skin continues to be the number one problem people come to see me about, in both men and women and in most cases we use the Hydrafacial to treat, it’s the perfect treatment as it can be adapted to every skin type. It's a results-driven skin treatment and people are always amazed at results after only one session.

The HydraFacial is an advanced medical grade facial, and the only machine of its kind to use technology that offers six treatments in one. The six stages are: Detox, Vortex-Cleansing, HydroPeel Exfoliation, Vortex-Extraction, and Vortex-Fusion plus LED.

The Hydrafacial can be extremely effective for helping break down the active acne cycle within problem skins, as well as helping reduce the overproduction of oil within oily skin types, which is a major cause of breakouts within the skin.

It can also be used on the body to treat the neck, face and the back area.

Problem 2: RosaCea and Thread Veins

Solution: Harmony XL Pro Laser Treatment, from £120 for a small area and depending on the skin condition 3 - 4 treatments are recommended for the best results

Broken capillaries and rosacea are very common inflammatory skin conditions which are caused by lifestyle, diet, hormonal or environmental changes.

Laser facials are non-surgical and no one treatment is suitable for everyone. I always explain to clients that lasers do require commitment, with a course of regular treatments offering better results than a single one off treatment but the results are outstanding and extremely rewarding.

Depending on the type of Rosacea or thread veins we are able to choose an appropriate applicator to maximize the results. It's a very fast treatment and with cooling inside the applicators, it makes the procedure comfortable with minimal down time which clients always find pleasantly surprising.

Problem 3: Acne Scars and Pigmentation

Solution: Clear + Brilliant from £450

Helping people to treat acne scars is something I am extremely passionate about as a result of my own personal experience with this. While treating her skin herself to heal her visible scars, she undertook  many training courses. These provided in-depth knowledge of  skin science and an understanding that every client’s skin is unique. As such, every treatment at Elenique is adapted to the client’s unique skin needs. Their journey or better skin is tailor-made.

Acne scars and pigmentation can be successfully treated with gentle Clear and Brilliant fractional laser treatment.  The procedure is about 45 minutes and it’s safe, non-invasive and extremely effective. This treatment allows us to treat acne scars and pigmentation resulting in smoother and brighter skin. It works by creating hundreds of thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin, stimulates collagen production and replaces damaged skin with healthy looking skin. There is no down time with this and clients will experience a little redness for a few hours after, another reason why it's one of my favourite lasers.

Problem 4: Skin Laxity, Lines and Wrinkles

Solution: BDR single facial skin treatment from £300

Skin laxity is a natural part of aging that occurs when the skin loses its firmness and structure. As people age, their bodies produce less collagen and elastin, which are proteins that give skin its strength and elasticity. This results in skin that appears looser, saggier, and crepe-like, with wrinkles and fine lines.

BDR Treatment is a revolutionary anti-ageing treatment that uses detox facial massage, gentle microdermabrasion, microneedling, natural acid peels and LED light therapy to restore radiant, youthful complexions. It’s a real powerhouse.

BDR is the cult anti-ageing treatment offering lasting results with a pain-free treatment experience.

Through this clever combination of clinical-grade procedures, this non-invasive pain-free treatment targets a variety of skin conditions.  BDR Treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production to visibly firm the skin, reduces  pigmentation and uneven skin tone, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and encourages detoxification and cell renewal.
