Nate Bigger, CEO and Founder of MONPURE Recognised in Walpole Power List

The spotlight shone on the best and brightest of British luxury last week as the sixth annual Walpole Power List was unveiled at The Lanesborough hotel in London. The event showcased the 50 individuals who are not only influential but also shaping the future of British luxury brands and cultural institutions.

The Walpole Power List celebrates creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership across the variety of roles at all levels that exist in the British luxury sector, from Sustainability Manager to Chef, Editor-in-Chief to Winemaker, and Cutter to Creative Director.

Nate Bigger is the visionary CEO of MONPURE, the leading scalp and hair health brand. Since its launch in 2020, MONPURE has won 60+ awards and was selected for Walpole’s esteemed Brands of Tomorrow scheme in 2023.

Growing up at global fashion shows backstage, Nate witnessed the harsh impact of hair styling on models’ identity, which ingrained in him a deep commitment to long term hair health solutions. He builds trust with those he does business with, including many of the esteemed luxury hotel members of Walpole. Blending ethical practices with a relentless drive for quality, redefining beauty standards and sustainable growth he ensures MONPURE’s lasting impact as a real trailblazer in the beauty sector globally.

Beyond job titles, each honouree on this year's Power List stands out for their commitment to delivering the extraordinary products and experiences at the heart of a sector now worth £81bn to the UK economy and which supports almost half a million jobs across the country.

Helen Brocklebank, Chief Executive, Walpole, said: “Behind our sector’s five-year growth of 69% is an industry powered by creative, ingenious leaders and a talented, determined workforce. Walpole’s annual Power List pays tribute to the breadth of brilliant talent that finds its home in UK luxury and celebrates a sector that truly values its people and nurtures long- term, sustainable jobs nationwide. Congratulations to everyone on this year’s list.”

Following a peer-to-peer nomination process, this year’s final 50 were selected by a panel of DEI and luxury sector experts, including Richard Cooke, Cluster Managing Director, UK, Rocco Forte Hotels; Gillian de Bono, former Editor, FT How To Spend It; Sue Fox, President, U.K. & Ireland, The Estée Lauder Companies; Jamie Gill, Founder, The Outsiders Perspective; and Daniel Peters, Founder, (Fashion) Minority Report.
