Palmer’s Launches ‘It’s Thicc’ Campaign
Palmer’s is celebrating its iconic Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion this summer, with an advertising campaign, which will see London and Manchester bathed in Palmer’s thicc and sweet Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion.
The Palmer’s ‘It’s Thicc’ campaign is being launched to celebrate and showcase the brand’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion in a fun and creative way to communicate its rich, creamy texture, whilst also bringing to life its thickness, demonstrating the efficacy and quality of the product - because Thiccness counts!
The ‘It’s Thicc’ outdoor campaign kicked off in July with a bespoke Palmer’s ‘Its Thicc’ branded ice cream van. The ice cream featured on the van was made using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion, using a piping bag. The van did a quick tour of London, visiting media houses and pulling up in Spitalfields for a day, serving Mr. Whippy style ice cream to passersby, while the Palmer’s team were on hand to communicate the ‘thiccness’ of the UK’s No.1 Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion, and hand out samples.
The outdoor campaign upscales this month, with T side adverts on London’s iconic red buses. The ‘Its Thicc’ ads will display Palmer’s iconic Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion with the tag line - Thicc and sweet cocoa butter, the best recipe against dry skin this summer. The campaign then moves North, to Manchester, where a digital screen campaign will appear across Manchester City Centre.
The campaign then turns into art from mid-August, when two anamorphic murals will be hand painted in Brixton, London and Manchester’s Thomas Street, by a dedicated team of 10 artists from Global Street Art. Both murals, of 9 and 13.5 metres height, will come to life over a series of days and will visually stand out, once completed. Using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion as the focal point, these murals will carry the ‘Its Thicc’ tag line and will artfully highlight the lotion and its unique consistency in the most creative way.
Palmer’s ‘It’s Thicc’ campaign is being supported with a digital campaign that will appear across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Demand Gen, programmatic display and connected TV. Educating consumers on the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion, and what the ‘It’s Thicc’ message is communicating.
