Sephora Announces Charity Partnership with Not A Phase
Sephora UK is proud to announce its new charity partnership with Not A Phase, a leading trans-led charity dedicated to uplifting and supporting trans+ adults. This collaboration underscores Sephora UK’s ongoing commitment to championing inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and amplifying LGBTQ+ voices. Launching today in recognition of International Trans Day of Visibility, celebrating and increasing awareness of the lives and achievements of trans+ individuals.
Not A Phase works to improve the lives of trans+ adults through a range of impactful initiatives, including awareness campaigns, social programs, and advocacy efforts. Their projects, such as the Misfits free fitness and self-defence classes, Trans+ Connect online peer support groups, and comprehensive workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) training, have made a tangible difference within the community.
“The partnership between Not A Phase and Sephora UK aims to bring real, tangible change to the trans+ community. This collaboration marks the beginning of an exciting journey, with many more impactful initiatives to be announced in the near future” comments Danielle St James, Chief Executive at Not A Phase.
This partnership will run alongside Sephora's ongoing collaboration with Face Equality International, further reinforcing their commitment to championing inclusivity and celebrating diversity in the beauty industry. The mission of Face Equality International (FEI) is to mobilise the many groups and organisations, big and small, national and international, which support and represent people with facial differences and disfigurements and thereby to create the critical mass and solidarity needed to gain global attention for the campaign for face equality.
