The Prime Minister has announced in today’s Coronavirus Downing Street Briefing that the easing of high-risk treatments is postponed in England.

Earlier this month it was announced that beauty professionals would be permitted to carry out high risk treatments from the 1st of August, the non-exhaustive list of treatments provided by the government includes:

Face waxing, sugaring or threading services,

Facial treatments,

Advanced facial technical (electrical or mechanical)

Eyelash treatments

Make up application

Dermarolling

Dermaplaning

Microblading

Electrolysis on the face Eyebrow treatments

However, the Office for national statistics has gauges that the presence of coronavirus infections is rising for the first time since May, with 4,900 new infections every day. Because of this, the easing of lockdown for the 1st of August is postponed for at least the next two weeks in England, with a new review on the 15th of August at the earliest. T
